We are Here!

We arrived to Haiti around 12:00 with no problems! The flights were on time and all the transitions were smooth. All 36 bags got here and got through customs with no problems! The customs officials certainly enjoyed shooting the finger blasters across the airport while they were searching the bags. We gave them one as a souvenir. We are about to head to the grocery store to pick up some food for the week. It has already been great to be back in Haiti and see old friends. The weather is beautiful but hot (around 90 degrees). We are excited about a great week and can't wait to see what the Lord has in store.

  3. So thankful for your safe arrival and no problems getting checked in and through customs - definitely an answered prayer! Wish I could be there - especially on Thursday to see the children. May those you come in contact with today see the love of Jesus.

Rodney, please try to behave..love you.

    Love to all,

Keeping you in my prayers. I know Gail told Rodney to behave but I think there are two more there that need to be told the same thing!!

  5. Thank you for giving your heart to the Lord and sharing with those in Haiti. Your love for Our Heavenly Father shines through, and I'm sure you will touch many this "Thankful" season. We really appreciate the sacrifices you all make on behalf of our church.
    Love to all,

  6. Had lunch with a co-worker today. Her church, Hope Community in Raleigh, just raised money for a hospital in Haiti - she couldn't remember the location. Could you check to see if Pastor Leon is familiar with that church and if that's the hospital he has been working on?

Hope you are all having a great day doing the Lord's work!

    Love to all,
    Gail
